CONMEBOL is the governing body of football in South America. Its full name, Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol, is usually shortened to CONMEBOL, and the organization is headquartered in Luque, Paraguay. Founded in 1916, it is one of the oldest continental football confederations in the world.
