Evidence should matter more than a reporter’s preferred outcome, and significant viewpoints should not be ignored simply because they are inconvenient.
For readers, understanding the work behind a story can change the way news is consumed. A useful question is not only whether a report confirms an existing belief, but also how the information was gathered, what evidence supports it, and what remains unknown.
